One of the reasons is that every game is prone to bugs. That being said there are multiple reasons that someone might want to save the game manually. If you are playing the game normally the game will save when you leave. You can use these save games to send to your friends if they want to play on your worlds, or if you have to upload them to a server.Īs previously stated in 7 Days to Die the game and the game’s world automatically. You can use this method for finding save games for all of the games on your computer as they share a similar directory. This is where all of your current save games are located for 7 Days to Die. Now, open up the 7DaysToDie folder and navigate to the “Saves” folder. Check the image below for a better idea of what I mean. Now, go the search bar and type in %appdata% and press enter. You can open up any folder to get to this area. To navigate to the saved games folder open up you folder explorer. The game saves each game you start into different world files and all of the information is included there. Where is the Save Game Located for 7 Days to Die? There is no way to manually save the game on the console versions of the game. The console command for saving the game can only be entered on the PC version of the game. These can be related to server settings, admin setting or other things such as the save game command seen in the image above. ![]() The console is the place where you can type in many other different console commands in-game. 7 Days to Die works perfectly, even with 8 mods installed.Saving the game via console commands is easy! No browser or other things like that are loaded. Hard drives are mostly M.2 drives, and I close anything not absolutely required prior to starting the game. My computer is high end, with high end Ryzen CPU, 32gb ram and an Nvidia 3080 graphics card. I have used steam to check the 7 days to die files in the folder I copied from and no files needed updated or replaced. Still getting blown to desktop quite regularly. Again, I have not installed any mods and have not done any editing to the config files. Since then I have been getting blown to desktop regularly, in anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes. Well, I did that and also created a random 8k world, as was also recommended. Basically copy your existing 7D2D folder, delete all mods out of it and copy the contents of the UndeadLegacy zip file into it. I followed the video mentioned in the install process. ![]() ![]() I installed Undead Legacy yesterday morning and have been playing it since then.
